3 10x8 Book Covers with a moveable colored stripe that is looped around the back but not stuck in one place, ie. moves and distorts the image the more you handle the books.

These three different books from different eras, authors, and most importantly, religious topics, are made to look as if they are a part of the same series. The three women protagonists each have a different color associated with their story, and when printed, the colored strip that goes across their eye is actually a detached strip and moves across their portrait. The strip can also be used as a bookmark. The book jackets have a back flap, back cover, front cover, and front flap. My intention was to illustrate an oppressive or destructive nature to their stories with the broken up faces that are flipped on the back side.
